Verhulst brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across healthcare distribution, medical sales, and market development. Most recently, he served as a Venture Partner, advising healthcare technology companies on commercialization strategy and market adoption. Prior to that, he spent over two decades at Henry Schein, where he held senior leadership roles including Vice President of Sales for North America Distribution and Vice President of Sales for the Medical Division, leading national sales organizations and supporting major growth initiatives.

Previously, James has held CFO roles in the urgent care sector at both Emergence Health Holdings and Carewell Urgent Care. At Carewell, which was backed by several leading health insurance companies, James worked with payers to expand coverage and access for patients.
