In addition, each November 14th we join together with diabetes advocacy organizations and health care professionals to observe World Diabetes Day. Together these joint celebrations shine a spotlight on diabetes, a disease that affects 34.2 million Americans (1 in 10!), with numbers that are expected to rise even higher in the next few years.
